Ingredients:

4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

¼ cup honey
-
2 tbsp soy sauce
-
1 tbsp lemon juice
-
1 tsp lemon zest
-
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

½ tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
½ tsp paprika
-
1 tbsp butter
Instructions:

Prepare the Chicken:

Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.

Season both sides with salt, pepper, and paprika.

Sear the Chicken:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Place chicken skin-side down and sear for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.

Flip and cook for another 5 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Stir in honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes (if using).

Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine & Cook:

Return the chicken to the pan, skin-side up. Spoon the sauce over the chicken.

Cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes on low heat until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temp 165°F ).
